Frequently Asked Questions
Understanding GriotsWell
Q: What is GriotsWell?
A: GriotsWell is a storytelling education platform teaching narrative structures from global traditions. We offer one product:
- World Wizard Masters (54 Story Worlds): 50 cultural traditions + 4 classic linear frameworks, organized by 10 world regions and 9 architecture families
Our mission: Discovery and sharing of the world's diverse storytelling.
Q: Who is GriotsWell for?
A: Fiction writers, screenwriters, novelists, game designers, students, educators, and anyone interested in story architecture.
No experience required. We teach both familiar structures (Hero's Journey, Three-Act) and Cultural structures (Anansi Web, Griot Cycle, Egyptian Ma'at).
Whether you're writing your first story or your fiftieth, architectural diversity makes you a better storyteller.
Q: How is this different from other writing tools?
A: Three fundamental differences:
1. Architectural Diversity
We're the only platform teaching story structures as architecturally diverse systems. Others teach variations of the same linear formula. We teach fundamentally different architectures: web patterns, spiral time, balance-seeking, geographic mapping, cyclical structures.
2. Research Depth
Every structure is built from lifelong passion and dedicated, source-based research. Not summaries. Not templates. Authentic educational content.
3. Global Respect
We teach Established structures (Hero's Journey, Three-Act) AND Cultural structures (Anansi, Griot, Egyptian Ma'at) with equal respect and depth. Not "exotic variations"—genuine traditions.

Not a team of researchers. One person doing deep, careful work to ensure quality and authenticity.
