By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any GriotsWell services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Account Registration

You must:

  • Provide accurate, current information
  • Maintain security of your password
  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Not share account credentials

You're responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Subscription Terms

Free Tier: 3 Classic structures permanently free, 1 active project, full export capabilities

Paid Subscriptions:

  • Plotting Tools Full Access: $25/year
  • World Wizard Masters: $40/year
  • AI Power Pack: $10/month addon

Billing: Annual subscriptions billed once per year, monthly subscriptions billed once per month, auto-renews unless canceled, processed via Stripe.

3. Refund Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: First-time purchases only

  • Request within 14 days of payment
  • Email support@griotswell.com
  • Full refund to original payment method
  • Processed within 5-7 business days

Not Refundable: Renewals after first subscription, AI Power Pack after chapters generated, accounts in violation of Terms

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You own all content you create using GriotsWell (story structures, exported blueprints, AI-generated prose, creative work). We don't claim ownership of your stories.

Our Content: We own platform code, educational materials, structure research, cultural context content, wizard interfaces, brand assets.

You May Not: Reproduce structure guides verbatim, redistribute educational materials, copy wizard interfaces, resell platform access, create derivative platforms using our research.

5. Acceptable Use

Use GriotsWell For: Creative writing projects, educational purposes, professional storytelling work, learning story architecture

Don't Use For: Illegal activities, creating harmful content, harassment or abuse, violating others' rights, automated scraping, circumventing payment systems

Cultural Respect: When using Worldwide structures, read cultural context, apply respectfully, give proper attribution, don't misrepresent traditions.

6. Cultural Content & Disclaimers

Worldwide structures taught for educational purposes. We've invested 400+ hours research per structure to ensure authenticity, but we're not cultural authorities. Errors may exist despite careful research.

Your Responsibility: Verify cultural context for your purposes, consult additional sources if needed, apply structures respectfully, don't claim expertise based solely on platform use.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

GriotsWell provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee platform available 100% of time, all structures perfect for every story, cultural context complete or error-free, AI generation quality, or compatibility with all devices/browsers.

You use at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: GriotsWell not liable for loss of data or projects, loss of income, indirect or consequential damages, or damages exceeding amount you paid in past 12 months.
